Gender, Teaching and Care

Gender,teaching and care. Swedish/English network of gender researchers. This network began through collaboration between gender researchers at the Universities of Gothenburg, Lancaster and the University of Cumbria. Funded by the Swedish Research Council since 2010, it has now expanded to incorporate researchers from Japan, Canada and Finland. Our activities have included annual meetings (in Sweden and the UK in 2010, 2011, and 2012), video conferencing, symposia at the Gender and Education Association conferences (2011 and 2012) and the submission and acceptance of a proposal for a special issue of Gender and Education: ‘Gender, Teaching and Care: a comparative conversation’ guest edited by Warin and Gannerud.
