Description
The main objective of this research project is to initiate a fresh theoretical approach to studying the relationship between Christianity and the political establishment in India whilst engaging academics with socio-political activist from the community. This project navigates the difficult moral, social, political and material realities of Indians while revealing a distinctive religious and cultural identity that has value for broader theoretical comparison within India and the wider South Asian context. Dissemination of knowledge through publications are part of this knowledge exchange research through the international collaboration of academics working on this particular area. It is a collaborative project with colleagues from the University of Edinburgh, United Theological college, Bangalore (India) and Visthar Institute of Social Sciences, Bangalore(India).
