Personal profile

Research Interests

I received my PhD in 2025 with a focus on the electrochemical detection of pathogens and their surface proteins. My research interests center around the development of innovative and functional conductive interfaces for the detection of diseases and infections. This includes designing bio-recognition elements for the sensitive and selective detection of pathogens, biomarkers, surface proteins, and immunoglobulins. The aim of my research is to advance diagnostic technologies through the integration of electrochemical sensing platforms and novel biorecognition strategies. Currently, I am involved in the Breakthrough T1D project, where we are developing electrochemical methods for the monitoring of type 1 diabetes via C-peptide detection.
