Current Research

I am investigating the precise shape and structure of Earth's magnetosphere. For this I am using ESA Cluster data to provide magnetic pressure measurements, to determine the position of the pressure balance between solar wind dynamic pressure and planetary magnetospheric pressure. This provides a precise location of the magnetopause, which can then be used to help either prove or disprove current models of the magnetosphere.
