My PhD project is investigating the effects of solar photovoltaic farms on the host environment regarding microclimate, vegetation and soil physical properties. Data collection through field work, along with lab work and statistical analises as well as extensive programming and physical-numerical modeling approaches, we aim to characterise and evaluate the potential impacts on lands across different climatic zones.
