Organisation profile

Our core research areas are geological hazards, palaeoclimate, geophysical imaging, sedimentology, tectonics, and planetary geology. Our specific aims are to mitigate natural hazards through understanding the fundamental physical and chemical processes involved and to develop quantitative methods for characterising and monitoring geological environments and for palaeoclimate reconstruction.
