The Centre for Technological Futures will aim to provide an intellectual home and focus for interdisciplinary research, at LUMS but also across LU and beyond, for research in four interrelated areas:

• Technologically mediated futures, with particular reference to contemporary trends and developments in work, management, business and society;

• Technological thinking in relation to futures, especially futures mediated by technological changes, innovations and practices;

• Designing, organising and managing futures through technologies; and

Organising futures thinking in relation to technological futures and future technologies
