Description

Itinerancia is a presentation of seventeen posters in which artists from Spain and Latin America have captured their visions of the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals of the UN. The bodies which have made possible this exhibition are the Centro Cultural de España, Mexico’s U.N. Office, the Gran Salón de México (an independent agency promoting the art of illustrators), and the CGAAI of Mexico City (a governmental body which plans and advises on strategies of international reach for the Mexican capital). The inaugural event in the campus Library will comprise a round table of academics from Lancaster University in conversation with Maru Aguzzi (exhibition curator and illustrator) who will be attending by videoconference, on the subject of art and science perspectives on the U.N.’s Sustainable Development Goals.
