Description
This symposium brings together researchers across Lancaster University to explore ongoing and emerging research collaborations related to Africa. The event aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue, identify shared research priorities, and prepare for collaborative grant applications that align with Lancaster University’s Africa Research Hub (LUARH) strategy.Through two sessions of short presentations and a facilitated discussion, participants will share insights from diverse projects spanning health, environment, agriculture, and social sciences. The symposium will culminate in a collective discussion to map synergies, define collaborative research questions, and outline steps toward a coordinated LU Africa research strategy and future funding opportunities.
