"EDI in the IPY" was an afternoon of workshops for students in the Department of Languages and Cultures at Lancaster who are about to go on their International Placement Year (IPY). The workshop afternoon focused on a range of topics relating to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) in the context of the International Placement Year. The event established an open forum for discussion of EDI issues related to the IPY. Featured workshops were student-led, and supported by DeLC staff, with topics determined and discussed by students.
