Space Weather Impacts on the Rail Sector Working Group

The role of the Rail Space Weather Working Group is to: ● identify rail vulnerabilities to space weather and best practice mitigation measures; ● make recommendations on what the sector should do in a space weather event; ● identify how the sector can be encouraged to develop its own engagement strategy on space weather risks and mitigation; ● meet at least 6 times to develop recommendations; and ● produce a short report summarising the above findings.
