Description
CHANGE – the Collaborative Hate Activist Network for Generating Engagement – is a new academic network bringing together researchers, practitioners and policymakers to make hate crime research more impactful and accountable.
Our aim is to ensure that vital academic insights don’t remain siloed but are translated into meaningful change for the communities most affected by hate. We do this by amplifying research, creating spaces for collaboration and committing to engagement with lived experience, media and public audiences.
CHANGE is not about chasing metrics or institutional box-ticking. It is about using research to challenge injustice, influence policy and practice, and generate real-world impact — CHANGE for change’s sake.
